Durgadevi Temple
A famous Durga Devi temple located just near the Hirekerur village lake. It has big pond called Durga devi kere, which is approximately 900 acres. People are very good in culture. There are various religions existed here, who coordinates well in all events. Every 3years once Durgadevi Festival(Jatra)done by all riligion people coordinatelly.
Rabkavi Sarvagna
There is the birthplace of Sarvagna. Abalur, which is in Hirekerur taluk, 40 kilometres from Haveri, was once a Jain centre, and then a Shaivite place of worship post-12th century.
